जल, जंगल, जमीन की त्रयी में पानी सबसे जरूरी और सामुदायिक प्राकृतिक संसाधन है, लेकिन ‘खुले बाजारों में सब कुछ बिकाऊ’ के हल्ले में पानी को भी मुनाफा काटने की वस्तु में तब्दील किया जा रहा है। मध्य प्रदेश इससे अछूता नहीं है। यहाँ भी महंगे बोतलबन्द पानी के लिये पूँजी और दक्षता का टोटा दिखाकर निजीकरण की सरकारी तजबीज पेश की जा रही है।
